The focus of this week’s Sources of Strength Campaign was that of naming a Trusted Adult here at Sonoraville High School.  All students received a lesson in advisement on the importance of having an adult on campus that they can turn to if they or a friend needed help.  Trusted adults provide support, advice, and  are seen as a strength for our students while making a positive impact on their lives.  The names on the wall range from the school resource officer, lunchroom ladies, the family advocate, the ISS instructor, faculty members, and many more.  The students also wrote a short message as to why this person impacts them in such a positive way and the #trustedadult will receive these notes in a few weeks.  Our students continue to prove that the Phoenix Family goes the #GCS2ndMile.
