SHS Fishing Team--Two Boats in Top 25 @ Tournament on Lake Weiss

The Sonoraville Fishing team competed in tournament #3 of their high school trail on Saturday at Lake Weiss.  There was a total of 114 boats the NWGHSAA tournament.  The Phoenix had two boats place in the top 25 and a total of 6 out of their 10 boats weigh fish.

Gavin Aikens & Treven Hovers weighed one fish for 2.04lbs

Bryson Thurman & Chase Potter weighed two fish for 5.64lbs

Hannah Roberts & Logan Kuhlman weighed two fish for 2.93lbs

Blade Parker & Colby Smith caught a limit that weighed 5.30lbs

Bryson Dowdy & Will Hall weighed 4 fish for 7.04lbs, good enough for 24th place.

Myles Bennett and Will Pritchett caught a limit that weighed 8.82lbs, good enough for 18th place. 

 

The fishing teams will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday, April 14th-15th.  The tournament will be on Chickamauga, blasting out of the Dayton, TN boat dock.
