I am a mother of two rambunctious little boys that go to Sonoraville Elementary School, and I recently married an Air Force firefighter! (Some students may know me as "Covol".)

I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the great University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).

I have been teaching since 2008, and I absolutely love my job! I have taught mathematics, agriculture, and science. My favorite thing about teaching is helping students realize how these concepts apply to real life. I want every single student to be successful in my class as well as in life after high school! In order to do that, I hold the students to higher standards and help them learn life skills and personal responsibility.

I am always happy to help a struggling student. I will be holding extra help sessions at 7:45 am in Room 122 every Tuesday and Thursday. I am also available most mornings and afternoons by appointment for any students who cannot make it in the morning. Please feel free to email me anytime with questions, comments, or concerns.

I look forward to having your child in class! We are going to have an awesome year!
